We provide a range of employment law services for both individuals and business clients. Whilst we normally charge on the basis of an hourly rate, we usually offer a discounted fixed fee for a first meeting from around £175.

 

If you need us to defend your business in an employment tribunal claim, the costs will vary depending on the complexity of the issues and the amount of days spent at the employment tribunal hearing. In terms of the average range of costs for a tribunal case from start to finish, a case that only takes one day in the tribunal may cost approximately £3500 plus vat in total. At the other end of the scale, a case which takes five days to be heard could cost as much as £15000 plus vat in total.

 

If you have a business and are looking for a fixed price retainer agreement, we can offer that from £300 per month plus vat, depending on the size of your business.

 

If you are an employee, we are always happy to have a free telephone conversation with you at the outset. If it is then necessary to meet with you to discuss the matter in detail, we will usually agree a fixed fee for the meeting from around £175. Indeed we can do most things for a fixed fee so you will know exactly where you stand.

 

If you are an employee and you want us to represent you in an employment tribunal claim, the costs will vary depending on the complexity of the issues and the amount of days spent at the employment tribunal hearing. The average range of costs for your employment tribunal claim are the same as the figures set out above for employers. If you have legal expenses insurance, we are happy to be paid by your insurer.
