If you are a business, you may be interested in our monthly retainer service, under which we will deal with all of your day to day employment law issues for a fixed fee of as little as £250 per month plus vat. This represents excellent value for money and allows clients to take first rate employment law advice when required, without worrying about costs. Equally we are happy to advise on an as and when required basis and can often assist on the basis of fixed fees. If you need us to defend your business in an employment tribunal claim, the costs will vary depending on the complexity of the issues and the amount of days spent at the employment tribunal hearing. We tend to charge on the basis of hourly rates which range from £165 per hour plus vat to £225 per hour plus vat. In terms of the average range of costs for a tribunal case from start to finish, a case that only takes one day in the tribunal to be heard may cost approximately £3500 plus vat in total. At the other end of the scale, a case which takes five days to be heard could cost as much as £15000 plus vat in total.

If you are an employee, we are always happy to have a free telephone conversation with you at the outset. If it is then necessary to meet with you to discuss the matter in detail, we will often agree a fixed fee for the meeting, which can be as little as £165.
